Selena is the middle child of Daniel Garcia and Marianna Garcia Rodriquez, born in Riverview to two older siblings. Selena was mostly taken care of by Marianna and Krista, since they were the only ones who usually volunteered for Dirty Diaper Duty. Selena is closer to her mother, since she adores her, and is always looking for the best for her youngest baby girl.
Selena also gets along with Adrien and Krista, as well as the family pets, Max Garcia and Snow White.
As a toddler, Selena loved to play with anything she could get her grubby little hands on - whether it was Krista's pink princess dress, Adrien's Legos, Daniel's CDs of Mexican singers, but she rarely disturbed her mothers' things.

Krista was the second born fraternal twin (younger than Adrien Garcia by 5 seconds) to Daniel Garcia and Marianna Garcia Rodriquez in Riverview. She and her twin brother get along very well: pretend dress-up, play video games, use their imagination in their tree house, and love to listen to their father play the piano - not to mention the spooky stories their mother tells them.
Krista also has a good relationship with her baby sister, Selena Garcia, since she took care of Selena when she was just a baby, she finds herself to be a good future mother. Max Garcia prefers Krista over the other Garcia's, but she still gets along with Snow White - the stray cat her mother found on her first day of elementary school.

Marianna was the middle child of a family of six: her parents, two older brothers, and younger sister. Her family immigrated to Simexico just after Marianna's little sister was born when she was 9 years old - living in Bridgeport. After living in the big city for three years, Marianna's family moved again, this time to Riverview. Marianna looked up to her brothers, who always protected her, and she guided her younger sister while her parents were both working - leaving the kids to fend for themselves in their absence.
When Marianna was thirteen, she met Daniel Garcia in the seventh grade. She barely spoke, yet she her actions spoke for her. Daniel got the nerve to talk to Marianna, boosting up her confidence, and soon she began to fall for his charm.
During her high school years, Marianna and Daniel began dating, and everyone knew they would get married after finishing school - which turned out to be true since they became engaged after finishing their senior year.
